Fidel Castro has finally accepted my MySpace friend invite!

It's finally happened! After three weeks of waiting like a forlorn puppy, I was starting to think that Fidel Castro found the large pictures of my breasts and blogs about anal sex to be "below" him. It was suggested to me that perhaps Fidel was too busy jacking it to my book cover to accept me as a friend. Hmmm... That's kind of hot.

"German research published in New England Journal of Medicine and Weekly World News said that men staring at women's breasts in fact prolong their lives with years."

They "experimented" on 200 men in a Frankfurt hospital. For five years, the men who were asked to be boob oglers presented a lower blood pressure, slower resting pulse rates and decreased risk of coronary artery disease.

Good Vibrations (www.goodvibes.com) recently welcomed me into their store on Valencia in San Francisco to do a reading. I thought, "Why just a reading? Let's have a boobie celebration!" So, I pitched it. They liked it. And the event was christened Boobiemania.

It was advertised in the Guardian as well as the SF Weekly, and on the radio. I conducted a mini-workshop on breast touch. I'll share all my tips in the next blog (entitled "Virgie's Titty Tips!"), don't worry. I did a couple of readings from the book (I chose "Milking Cow" and "New York Peep Show"). I even had time to give out some Jesus loves Boobs pins. I had managed to solicit some amazing donations for breast art from several friends. The farthest boobie artist came all the way from New York City! The pieces are faboobulous and I'll have those up and soon as I can upload the old batch of photos from my digital camera. The place was full... over 50 people turned up for Boobiemania! It was the top editor's pick for the SF Weekly (of 105 events for Thursday 11/29, Boobiemania at Good Vibrations was #1!). I SOLD OUT.. People hungry for Destination DD had to be turned away because every book in the store had been sold! Wow! I'm using too many exclamation points!

A few days before the event, the SF Weekly contacted me and asked if they could interview me before the event. I did an hour long interview with David, who was an admitted lover of big nipples and saggalicious boobs (yummm!).
